FUNDRAISING SUPERSTARS!

We have been incredibly grateful to two of our members who ran the recent Stafford Half Marathon to raise funds for NAS Stafford. Tracy Bowyer and James Found both donned their running shoes and made fantastic times to raise money which will enable events and activities to keep on happening for our community.

Tracy raised over £700 and will continue to keep her Just Giving page going, as she intends to run the Stafford 10K in September! James decided to use his marathon run to support NAS Stafford with only a few weeks to go but still managed to raise over £400.

This money will go towards our Summer Activity Programme, which we are putting together right now. NAS Stafford relies on donations, contributions and grants to keep going. We are all volunteers and give our time for free. We don’t even claim travel expenses. Fundraising like this means the world to us; it means we can continue to provide a variety of events and activities for over 500 families who are members.

We are able to offer exclusive events, or visits in large numbers so that a friendly face is always around. In this way autistic people and their families can enjoy similar experiences to their peers in a friendly, supportive environment.
