Model Train-tastic!

On Sunday 28th June, NAS Stafford were collaborated with the Stafford Model Engineer Society to host a wonderful morning of rides and model trains and snacks.

This was a truly wonderful event which saw our community come together with volunteers from SMES to enjoy unlimited rides on the model steam train and examine the many fantastic model trains on display.

We cannot thank Carol Harvey enough for suggesting the event and for all of the volunteers attending for making us feel so welcome. Everyone there was understanding and enthusiastic, and because the environment was welcoming, of course our young people were amazing. They talked trains and rode the track with such interest and respect; NAS volunteers Tracey, Julie and Pete had such a great time watching everyone enjoy themsleves. They might also have had a few rides on the train themselves!

We hope to collaborate more with this fantastic group.
